Still Here, Together
My name is Morgan and for the majority of my life, things went pretty much according to plan. That is, until they didn’t.
I used to be a Naval Aviator until one day my worst nightmare came true.
I was involved in a terrible accident and was left severely injured. But I was the lucky one.
That accident also resulted in the loss of human life and that loss has caused a pain far greater than any cut or bruise or broken bone.
I’ve tried a lot of different things to help myself feel better both physically and emotionally. Everything from talking to therapists, to riding my motorcycle.
And while riding my bike has helped ME the most, I’ve learned that there’s no quick fix. There’s not one singular thing that works for everyone.
I’ve also learned that I’m not alone.
Every day someone experiences their worst day, and they begin a lifelong journey of recovery.
I’ve set out to learn from those worst days. To hear everyone’s story, to figure out what works and what doesn’t.
Because while our experiences may be different, what we all have in common is that we’re Still Here to talk about them.
We’re Still Here, Together.
